Joomla Migration Expert

Joomla! 1.5 is now end-of-life and if your site is still running on Joomla 1.5.x or Joomla 1.x, unfortunately, there is a high chance that it can get compromised at any time. Securing your site before its too late is always a smart move. The security has always been an important issue for Joomla! developers and they continuously work to improve both the features and the security of Joomla CMS ( Content Management System )

Those sites which are found to be still running on outdated CMS often becomes target of hackers and malware; hence, CMS migration to latest version and fixing security loopholes is necessary.

Joomla! Upgrade or Joomla! Migration from Joomla! 1.5 to Joomla! 2.5/3.x is not always straightforward and requires attention to detail since the platform and underlying architecture has changed quite a bit.

I am Expert in Migrating Joomla 1.5 to Joomla 2.5/3.x alongwith all its major extensions such as

  • JomSocial
  • VirtueMart
  • Kunena
  • K2
  • Community Builder
  • Moset Tree
  • HWDVideoShare, HWDPhotoShare to HWDMediaShare
  • Community Builder
  • Front Page Slide Show
  • JomComments to JComments or K2
  • JEvents
  • Joomla 1.5 Template to Joomla 2.5/3.x Template
  • Upgrading Joomla 1.5 compatible plugins, modules and components to Joomla 2.5/3.x
  • Manually moving data from Joomla 1.5 to Joomla 2.5/3.x extensions.

A Joomla 1.5! site with no major third party extensions installed and no customization would cost around $499 to be migrated to Joomla! 2.5/3.x

How to recover Joomla admin password

    Joomla 1.5

    Step 1 (Quick and Easy):

    Lost Your Password Recovery

Use the lost possword feature in the Joomla front-end to send an email to your email address. This will send you a recovery link with an option to change your password.

This will allow you to easily update your password. However, if you have forgotten the email address that you used for admin user or if you didnt allow the frontend registration parameters in the Configuration Manager,  you will have to use the second option mentioned below.
